When we think of selfies and images about the self, we often think about a physical representation of a person. However, photography also allows us to represent our identity with the camera pointing away from ourselves and focusing more on the objects and places that help better represent who we are as a whole.

My work features themes of identity and self, but I never focus too much on physical representation of a person, rather more on how space, objects, and small details can be formative of our identity. It’s definitely more of an ambiguous approach tot he subject, but one that can really give the audience insight into a person’s personal life and how they view the world.
