COMING IN JUNE

We are delighted to announce the next Yorkshire SEPN meet-up event.

Following an introduction from 87 Gallery, the meeting will move to further group-based discussions surrounding the meeting's theme: Pull Focus.

We invite you to bring along one photograph you've recently taken that represents the feelings of a community or group about coming out of lock-down.

We hope that the ideas from our discussion will further form the focus of the following SEPN Yorkshire events - we want the network to be as inclusive as possible, so hearing from everyone will ensure the future of the Network is shaped collectively by you!

ABOUT SEPN

Working with organisations, photographers, community groups, academics and curators from across the country, Open Eye Gallery is building a new network to discuss and accelerate the practice of socially engaged photography.

In the spirit of social practice, the network is shaped collaboratively by its users. There over 250 members and 20 organisational partners supporting the development of the network to date. There are regional meet up groups established or currently developing across the North West, North East, the Midlands, Scotland, London and South East, and the South West, and now, Yorkshire.

We are pleased to be the hosts of Yorkshire’s SEPN, and to be able to work closely with Open Eye Gallery and the region’s photographers  to establish and grow a nourishing and rewarding group.
