Open Call for Submissions

For the upcoming issue of TIMES to be published in May, we’re looking for submissions of work in any medium that explore the theme A CRITICAL MOMENT.

We welcome all formats including photography, writing, video, audio, print, surface-based works, ceramics, sculpture, digital, textiles, net art, land art, or academic research.

Our Guest Editor for TIMES VI: A Critical Moment is Alexander Stubbs.

This theme is broad and we’d love to see submissions that investigate any aspect of the following subjects:

human rights, peace - protest, media - messaging - bias, diaspora - place - belonging, precarity - uncertainty, distance - closeness - separation, resolution, freedom, values - voices, climate - ecology, transitions, turning points

TIMES is 87 Gallery’s round-up style online publication. Each issue invites you to respond to a theme. There is an open submission process — anyone, anywhere can submit work in any medium. Final selections will be featured here, as well as on the blog and across our social media.

How to Apply

Please send up a maximum of 10 high resolution images, links to or files of your work to times@87gallery.co.uk. Please include your first and last name, the medium, and a few sentences about the work you are including. Once selections have been made, you will be contacted.
