“These pieces are from a lockdown mail art project I conceived as an overflow project. These postcards were made and sent out in between the other work that I was doing in my 1st Year of a Fine Art Foundation Degree at Hull College. In my other projects I was taking on personas and using them to build archives. I thought it would be interesting to send work as well as keep work - dispersing the archive. I found that I couldn't let them go without scanning them and I also wanted to scan all sides of the cards and envelopes.”

Thomas Robinson would like to credit the people at Hull College who volunteered to be recipients of his mail, and considers them equal partners in the project.
